Inspiration
Jodi Dehen, owner of A Hand to Home, is inspired by extracting the best of every day.
My aim is to map out a clear and simple plan with you to mobilize the clutter from restricting the flow of your home and to reveal corners, closets and cabinets under attack from it. My simple process considers your needs and what your vision is to implement with my method that makes it manageable and fun.
I found my knack for decluttering through living in the same home with my husband for nearly 30 years, over time rooms in my house have played different roles, raising our daughter, always having pets, then empty nesters, caring for aging parents and saying goodbye to loved ones (and working through the physical and emotional moments that come with closing out their lives). Helping family and friends pack up to move and again to resettle them in the same town or out of state for various reasons. Including our daughter's multiple moves out of state then many times in the same city. Learning how to say no to becoming a storage unit for those who ask if we can "just store a few items" for them for a while, even though we truly want to help with their transitions - we shouldn't sacrifice our own breathing room but instead enjoy the freedom that comes when we dance in that area ourselves.
I have a background in logistics, so I know how to make items flow at optimal efficiency, known for my abundant energy and getting things done. Whether you need help decluttering just one closet or one room or your entire home or inventory for your business, I am here to make it approachable for you.
You will be pleasantly surprised when the project is finished how much space it opens up to elevate your level of enjoyment in your home and workspace every day.
